Create a New Line Type

  1. Click New.
  2. In the Name field, enter the name for the line type.
  3. In the Line Width field, enter a value for the width of the line or click to increase or decrease the width.
  4. Click Change Color to select a color for the line. The current line is displayed in the area below the Line Width field.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Select Show this dialog for every new line checkbox to have the application display the Line Properties popup window each time you digitize a line. Deselect the checkbox to digitize lines without displaying the Line Properties popup window.
    Tip: You can open the Line Properties popup window at any time by selecting an existing length and clicking Prop on the speedbar or by double-clicking on an existing length.
  7. Click OK.
