Create a reference point on an area
- Open a job in the Manage Earthwork Estimates screen.
- Select the Area tab, if it is not already active.

In the Active Layer field on the toolbar, click
to select the layer for which you want to select an area.
- Click Select on the speedbar.
- Click on an area to select it.
- Click in the All Tasks pane.
- Complete the fields on the Coordinates tab as described on the Area Properties.
- Click OK.
