Export memos from the estimate to an existing Microsoft Word document

  1. Open the Manage Estimates screen and open the estimate job from which you want to export information.
  2. If you want to export memos for selected cost items, open the Estimate tab and select those cost items.
  3. Click Estimating > Tools > Memos > Estimate Memos in the All Tasks pane.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • Click Yes to view all memos.

    • Click No to view memos for the selected cost items.

  5. In the Export to Word Options section, select Open an existing Word document.
  6. Click Browse.
  7. Navigate to the existing Word document.
  8. Click Open.
  9. Complete the fields for the Memos popup as described on the Estimate Memos Screen Field Reference.
  10. Click Export.
  11. Navigate to the existing Word document again.
  12. Click Save.
  13. Click Yes.
