Pair the Portal to Field Management Mobile

Before you can use Field Management Mobile, you must pair your portal to the mobile application on your device.

  1. On your device, download the app called Viewpoint Field Management Mobile from either the App Store (iOS users) or the Google Play Store (Android users).
  2. Using your device, log in to your portal URL.
    • If you have created a shortcut on your device, you can log in from the shortcut.

    • If you do not know the URL for your portal website, contact your company administrator.

  3. Initialize Field Management Mobile:
    1. From the home page of the portal on your device, select the menu button (three horizontal lines in the upper right of the navigation bar).
    2. In the dropdown, tap your name, and then tap Initialize Mobile App. The portal then prompts you to open your Field Management Mobile app.


  4. Log in to the Field Management Mobile app with your portal credentials.

    If OAuth based single sign-on (SSO) has been configured for the mobile application, you can select the SSO Login button to sign in with your SSO credentials. For more information, see Enable OAuth for Field Management Mobile.

    Trimble ID / Viewpoint ID single sign-on is not yet available for Field Management Mobile.
    Note: If you have any issues logging in to the mobile app, please contact your administrator for assistance.
    Note: For administrators, Trimble ID / Viewpoint ID logins do not transfer to the mobile app. Mobile users who were set up with Trimble ID / Viewpoint ID must also be set up with an ID and password for logging in to the mobile app. See Troubleshooting Field Management Mobile Logins for help.
