Change a User's Kiosk Password

Admins can set or change a Trimble ID user's Kiosk password. Users can enter this password to clock in or out through Kiosk Mode but still use their Trimble ID login to access the portal.

Users can also set their own Kiosk password from the navigation bar. For details, see Change Your Kiosk Password.
Note: Users who previously logged in using an employee number can continue to clock in with their employee number password, even as Trimble ID users.
  1. Go to Admin > User Access, and locate the name of the employee who needs to have their Kiosk password set.
  2. Select the Gear icon next to the employee's name, and select Change Kiosk Password.
  3. Enter and confirm the new password.
  4. Select Submit.
Note: Even if the portal setting Require users to change password on first login after admin resets password is enabled, Trimble ID users will not be required to change their Kiosk password when they first log in.
