Manually Link Trimble ID to Your Portal Profile

If the Vista Web portal cannot automatically link your Trimble ID to your portal employee user profile, you can manually link your accounts using your employee number and a one-time PIN.

This manual linking process also applies to linking Viewpoint ID to your portal profile.
  1. On the Vista Web login page, select Sign In with Trimble ID.


    You will be redirected to the Trimble Sign In page.

  2. Enter your email address, select Next, and continue through the Trimble ID login process.

    Once you have gone through the process, you will see a message explaining that your accounts could not automatically link: We were unable to associate your Trimble ID user with your employee user. You can either contact your administrator to ensure you're set up properly or follow the steps below to manually link.

  3. Select your company and enter your Employee Number. Select Verify.

    You should receive an email or a text with a single-use PIN.

    If there is information missing from your account, you will see an error. In this case, contact your administrator for assistance.

  4. Check your email or text messages, and enter the six-digit number into the PIN field.
  5. Select Link User.
You should be successfully linked to your Trimble ID account and logged in to the portal. If you want to verify that your account is linked, see Locate Username and Trimble ID Status.
Note: If you attempted to reset your password but did not finish the process before your organization updated to this latest 25.6 version, you need a new PIN in order to successfully complete the password reset.
