Question Type Fields
Find descriptions of the Question Type fields.
| Question Type | Select if you want... |

| Asset | Device user to select an asset from the project. |
| Barcode | Device user to scan or enter a barcode or QR code. |
| Calculation | Admin user to set up a calculation for the device user to trigger. |
| Date | Device user to select a date. You can also set it to use current date. |
| Date & Time | Device user to select a date/time. You can also set it up to use current date/time. |
| Form Expiry | Device user to select a date. When this date passes, the raised form will be flagged as overdue or expired. |
| Form GPS | User to enter a GPS location using GPS on the device. If marked as required, the user will not be able to close the form until a GPS coordinate has been recorded. |
| Form Location | This question type is added by default at the top of the form template when the form template is first created. You can move the question, but we recommend leaving it in place. When the form is used in a project, this question is populated by the top calibration location when created from the Forms grid list. |
| Issued To | Device user to issue the form to an organization by selecting from a list of project organizations. |
| Location | User to select a location from the project. Not the same as form location. |
| Logical | Device user to select Yes, No, or N/A. Enables the use of question logic. |
| Measurement | Device user to enter a number and selects a unit of measure specified in a predefined answer list. |
| Memo | Device user to enter text. Used when a lot of information is needed, as it allows for more characters than Text. Content is not searchable. |
| Numeric | Device user to enter a number. |
| Photo | Device user to take a photo using the device. |
| Predefined Answer | Device user to select from a list of answers specified in a predefined answer list. |
| Project Causes | Device user to select from a list of project causes. |
| Project Organisations | Device user to select from a list of project organizations. |
| Project Packages | Device user to select from a list of packages on the project. |
| Project People | Device user to select from a list of people on the project. |
| Project Trades | Device user to select from a list of trades used on the project. |
| Signature | Device user to sign on the form. |
| Sketch | Do not use. Not supported. |
| Text | Device user to enter text. Has a limited number of characters and can be found in a search. Preferred over Memo. |
| Time | Device user to enter a time. You can also set it to use current time. |
