Specify a Package on a Process Task

Once you assign a business unit process to a project, you need to specify a package on each task in the process (and sub-process) to be able to use the process on the project.

Assign the business process to the project.
Fastpath: Project Setup > Process Manager Setup > Process Setup
  1. Confirm that the correct business unit is selected in the Business Unit field, and that the correct project is selected in the Project field.
  2. Select Project Setup > Process Manager Setup > Process Setup.
  3. In the left pane, click the process to see the tasks within it, right-click on a task, and then click Edit Task.
  4. In the Package field, select the package to which the process task belongs.

    The Issued to Organization field is updated with the organization associated with the package.

  5. Click the Save Changes button .
The red exclamation icon is removed from the task. When all the tasks in a process have been updated with a package, the red exclamation icon is removed from the process. Then the process can be activated on the project.
