Manage User Access

Deactivate or reactivate a project user or remove a business user from the People Setup Summary page. You can also designate a device user. Deactivating a user does not delete the account.

  1. Confirm that the correct business unit is selected in the Business Unit field, and that the correct project is selected in the Project field.
  2. Select Project Setup > People Setup Summary to open the People Setup Summary page.
  3. If you are reactivating a user, clear the Active tick box next ot the Person Name Contains field and select Search.
  4. Right-click on the user's name ane select Edit Non-User or Edit Project Specific Roles.
  5. To activate or deactivate a user, select or clear the Active on Project or Person Active tick box.
  6. To add or remove a device for a business user, select or clear the Device User tick box.
  7. Select Save.
Field View applies the changes to the user’s access. The only way to regain access to a project is to be reactivated. Sending a new invitation will not work.
