Working with Photos

In the Field View application, you can annotate and attach photos to work items to provide greater context and explanation than descriptions alone.

  1. From the work item (for example, task, form answer, asset or process task), tap the camera icon to initiate the device camera.
  2. Tap Gallery to select a photo from your device's photo library, or tap Photo to use your device's camera to take a picture.
Depending on your device, you may have other options when taking a picture and adding it to your work item.
  3. When you have captured or selected your photo, Field View displays a thumbnail in a scrollable horizontal list.
  4. Tap an image to enlarge it and see the Annotate button.
  5. Tap Annotate to view the annotation controls.
  6. When you are finished annotating the photo, select Save.
Once you save the annotation, you cannot delete or change them.
  7. Select the X in the photo gallery to return to the work item, or select another function using the tabs at the top of the window.
