Change the Task Status

You can change the status of a task to track its progress to completion. You can select more than one task at a time provided the new status will be the same for all tasks.

The workflow status template must have been assigned to a task when the task type was created in the business unit.
  1. Select the menu icon in the upper left corner, then choose Tasks.
  2. In the row for the task you want to update, select the Status column and select the new status. If you are changing the status for multiple tasks, select the checkbox for each task, then choose Change Status from the Actions menu and select the new status.
    If a signature is not required, the status is updated. If a signature is required, the Change Status window appears.
  3. In the Status field, select the status to apply to the task.
  4. In the Status Change Comments field, enter the reason for the change or any comments about the status change.
  5. In the Signed By field, select the plus sign to add a signature.
    1. In the Organizations field, select your organization.
    2. In the Person field, choose yourself or select the plus sign or the drop down list to select a different person.
    3. If you add a new person, have that person enter their mobile PIN as their signature.
  6. Select Sign.
The task statuses are updated. You can see the updated status on your device once the device is synced.
