What's New in Field View 2025 R4

With the April release of Field View, we made managing projects more efficient and streamlined your workflow. Users can now sign forms using their mobile PIN without logging in, saving time while ensuring secure authorization. We transitioned project organisations into the web application to phase out Classic Field View, and aligned model usage with drawing functionalities for a more cohesive experience. We added a new card view for models alongside the current grid view, and we made it easier to stay informed with Revision tags for models when sources change, empowering you to choose the most current version. Plus, now you can effortlessly navigate between tasks or forms and their associated 360 photos with a link, ensuring a smooth, uninterrupted workflow.

Mobile PIN for Signature Questions

Mobile PIN for signature questions can now be configured so that a mobile PIN is required if you try to sign a form when you are not the logged in user. If you select a different user for the purposes of the signature question and you have enabled this setting on your signature question, the system will prompt the different user to use their mobile pin in order to sign the form and validate their signature.

Project Organisations

We moved project organisations into the web application in preparation for ending the use of Classic Field View.

Model Updates

We aligned using models with the way Field View uses drawings. Viewing a model will happen in the web application as opposed to Classic Field View. There will be a card view in addition to the grid view, so you can interact with the models the way you want.

In addition, when the source of a model has changed for models unassigned to a location, Field View adds a Revision tag so you can update the model, allowing you to decide if you want to use the most recent version or continue working with the current model.

Forms and Tasks to 360 Photos

For any Task or Form that was raised against a 360 photo, you can seamlessly navigate to the photo from the Task or Form page with the link that was added to the top of the page. Once you are done working with the photo, return to the task or form by selecting the return link, helping provide smooth, uninterrupted work.
