What's New in VFP 2024 R1
Welcome to the first Viewpoint for Projects release in 2024! We’re excited to bring you new, efficient updates to classifications, including importing new classifications and ways of keeping or deleting the inherited classifications. Also, enjoy a new streamlined process for VFP and Trimble Connect - you now have the ability to send and check in documents at the same time to Trimble Connect for easier efficiency.
Classifications
Now you can see what classifications are enabled at each level of a project. You can have multiple classification for each level. Classifications are inherited at the parent container level, but you can turn off that inheritance.
You'll can import a new classification schema from a spreadsheet and manage it in the Manage Classifications screen. You can also manually add a new classification from the Manage Classifications screen. The new classification schema will be added to the Classifications list.
If you need to amend or delete an enterprise-specific classification, you'll be able to do this from the Manage Classification screen, provided you have the correct permissions.
