Configure Email Notification Settings with OAuth2
Manage your email configuration with OAuth2 authentication to securely send emails from your portal.
- Select Admin > Portal Settings > Email Configuration and go to the General Configuration section.
- Enable OAuth2 by selecting the checkbox next to Use OAuth2 to authenticate email sending.

Then make the necessary changes to each of the
following settings:
- Address of the SMTP Host:
Enter the IP address / URL of your email host.
- Email
address to send emails from:
Enter the email address to use in the From field for emails sent from the portal.
- Enable
SSL in SMTP:
Match your mail server setup. This setting is disabled by default.
- Port
used by SMTP server:
Enter the port for your SMTP server. This field defaults to 587.
- SMTP
OAuth2 Client ID:
Enter the client ID for your application.
- SMTP
OAuth2 Client Secret:
Enter the client secret for your application.
- SMTP
OAuth2 Tenant ID:
Enter the tenant ID for your specific instance of Microsoft Entra.
- Timeout length for SMTP:
Enter the timeout length in milliseconds. This field defaults to 100000.
