Use the HQ State Compliance form to capture state-level compliance requirements (includes meal break, Department of Revenue, and Department of Labor requirements)

You can access this form via the Vista main menu, as well as by selecting the Compliance tab in HQ States.

Compliance requirements are defined by country, state, and effective date, and are shared by all HQ companies. For each country, state, and effective date combination, you'll define minimum wage, overtime, and supplemental wage rate requirements, as well as meal requirements (how many hours an employee must work to be entitled to a meal break, the meal break length, and meal break penalty, if applicable).

The system uses the information entered here in conjunction with defined timecard validation rules and other compliance information to detect discrepancies and errors when entering timecards.
