This option is available from the Options menu of PR Timecard Entry.

If you select this option, the timecard entry grid includes a field to enter a single character day of the week (Day field) rather than the specified date (Date field). When posting by day number, the form calculates the date of the timecard based upon the value in the Day field. For example, if the first day of the pay period is the 15th of the month, and you enter 3 as the Day #, the program automatically sets the date of the timecard entry to the 18th of the month.

If this option is not selected, the Date field displays in the grid. You may still use shortcuts to entering this date. For instance, if no default is showing, and you enter just 2 characters (such as 13), the field defaults the current month and calendar year and assumes 13 as the day: 01/13/XX.
