With Smart Payroll, you can streamline your timekeeping and payroll tasks, making them more efficient and accurate. It works by identifying timecard discrepancies based on defined rules, and then allowing you to accept the discrepancies or correct them before posting the timecards.

Timecard transactions are tracked in real time to help prevent errors before you post them. The system compares new timecard entries against the employee's history and/or compliance rules (depending on enabled rules and compliance settings), and highlights any differences. You can then choose to accept or adjust the flagged records. It also automates compliance checks for areas like overtime, wages, and taxes, which helps you avoid compliance risks.

In future releases, you can expect the following Smart Payroll features:

• Machine Learning Capabilities - The system will be able to suggest possible corrections for timecards flagged by the rules engine, and learn from corrections and modifications.

• Automated Workflows - Beyond catching errors, Smart Payroll will also feature "process automation", which will streamline manual tasks by automating routine steps.
