About the EM Categories Form
Use this form to define equipment categories.
Categories typically represent groups of similar equipment with identical usage rates. Once you set up the different categories of equipment used by your company, you can then define the usage rates that will be used for all equipment within those categories (in Revenue Rates by Category), as well as the default PR Class to be used when operating equipment.
The location-tracking feature uses categories to identify where all the items in a particular category are currently located.
