Displays the markup percentage for the parent cost item when the current cost item is part of an assembly.

Displays the total markup percentage for the cost item including the markup percentage for the parent cost item when the cost item is part of an assembly.

Displays the original unit cost of the cost item.

Displays the total cost of the cost item including the markup.

Enter the percentage to markup the cost item or click to increase or decrease the percentage. Each percentage entered is added to the Total M %. These fields can be customized in the Define Globals screen in the Define Estimate Globals or the Define Catalog Globals.

Enter a fixed dollar amount by which to markup the cost item or click to increase or decrease the amount. The application will calculate the percentage of the markup based on the unit cost and add the percentage to the Total M %. These fields can be customized in the Define Globals screen in the Define Estimate Globals or the Define Catalog Globals.

Displays the total markup percentage based on the values entered in markup fields 1-8. This value will be shown in the Mark Up % field in the Cost Item popup window.

If you are editing the cost item from the Estimate tab, select the checkbox to update related cost items based on the fringe information in this cost item. See Update Similar Cost Items for more information.
