A bid day estimate is an instance of an estimate that you can use to adjust financials and to create a bid. You can create as many bid day instances as needed, so you can experiment with different numbers and scenarios.

You can use the Bid Day button to create new bid day instances and to switch between bid day instances and the original estimate. Use the Estimating User Status screen to rename or delete a bid day instance, if needed.

If you are not licensed for Bid Day, you can create a single bid day instance. You can use this instance to round unit prices in the Summary tab.

If you are using invitations to bid, you can create a new bid day instance or update an existing bid day instance when you select the vendor bids to use from the Manage Invitation to Bid Selection screen.

To open a job in the Manage Estimates screen, click Estimating > Estimating > Manage Estimates in the All Tasks pane. Then select the job you want to open, and click OK.
