Manage Sheet Revisions

  1. If you haven't already done so, open Training\Essex 2 in the Manage Estimates screen.
  2. From the Takeoff tab, click Sheets and select the sheet you want to work with from the list.
  3. Click Sheets and select Manage Sheet Revisions.
    All revisions are listed whether they were added with Manage Sheet Revisions or Update Plans.
  4. Select the Visible checkbox for each sheet you want to view.
    If you select multiple revisions, you will see all selected revisions overlaid on each other.
  5. Double-click on the color cell to change the color of the lines on that revision. Select a new color and click OK.
    Note: Viewpoint recommends that you use a different color for the revised sheet and the original if you select the visible checkbox for both, so that you can easily tell them apart.

    You can set the default colors for the original and revised sheets on the Estimating Preferences screen.

  6. Select the Realign checkbox if the revised sheet needs to be aligned and/or rotated to match the original sheet. Deselect the checkbox if the revised sheet does not need to be altered to match the original, and go to the next step.
  7. Select the Realign checkbox for the sheet to use as the base for the alignment.
  8. Select Realign. Use the tools described on the Sheet Alignment Tool Screen Reference to align the sheets.
  9. Click OK.
