Screen Icon and Keyboard Reference

Tables with the icons and keyboard shortcuts available across different screens in your application.

Icon Reference

IconDescription
Displays the Home Page.
Opens the Help topic for the current screen.
Displays the next tab.
Displays the previous tab.
Hover over this icon to display the All Tasks pane.
Hover over this icon to display the Messages pane.
"Pins" the pane so that it displays at all times.
"Unpins" the pane so that it displays only when you hover over its tab.
Displays the tab in fullscreen mode, which hides the panes, tabs, quick link bar, and the toolbar at the top of the screen.
Returns the tab to standard view after using fullscreen mode.

Keyboard Reference

KeyDescription
F1Opens the Help topic for the current screen.
[F6]Populates the field with the first value of a lookup list.
[F7]Spell checks the text in the current field. This keyboard shortcut works on the fields in the Catalog, Estimate, Alternates, Change Orders, and Summary tabs of the Manage Estimates screen.
[F11]Toggles the toolbar and the window bar at the top of the screen on and off.
[F12]Displays the tab in fullscreen mode, which hides the panes, tabs, quick link bar, and the toolbar at the top of the screen. Press F12 again to return to windowed mode.
AltDisplays keyboard shortcuts for the current screen. Press Alt and the corresponding underlined letter in the field label to move to that field.
Ctrl+TabDisplays the next window.
Shift+Ctrl+TabDisplays the previous window.
Ctrl+[Z]Undo the previous action, such as edits to a cell, sorting a column sorting, and changing the column order. Works on the Takeoff, NotePad, Catalog, Estimate, Alternates, and Change Orders tabs. Not all actions can be undone, and once you move to a different tab or otherwise refresh the screen, you can no longer undo the previous action.
