Align a digitized layer in an imported TDS file using Northing/Easting world coordinates.

1. Open a job in the Manage Earthwork Estimates screen.
2. Select the Takeoff tab, if it is not already active.
3. If you have not imported the TDS file you want to work with, refer to TDS Data screen, and follow the steps listed there.
4. In your imported layer, follow the steps listed in Digitize Spot Elevations and Reference Points to create the reference points in the imported layer.
5. Click Save to save the job.
6. Secure the drawing you want to digitize onto the digitizer board.
7. Click Estimating > Earthwork > Takeoff > Add New Paper Plan Using Northing/Easting in the All Tasks pane.
8. Click Next to skip the first page of the Add Drawing popup window.
9. Complete the fields as described on the Add Drawing Popup Window Field Reference.
10. Click Finished. Continue the digitization process as normal.
