You can add a slope to an existing non-sloped line or adjust the current slope of the line.

1. Open a job in the Manage Earthwork Estimates screen.
   Note: To open a job in the Manage Earthwork Estimates screen, click Estimating > Earthwork > Manage Earthwork Estimates in the All Tasks pane. Click Open Existing Job. Then select the job you want to open, and click OK.
2. Select the Takeoff tab, if it is not already active.
3. In the Active Layer field on the toolbar, click to select the layer you want to view.
4. Click Select on the speedbar.
5. Select the line to change.
6. Click Prop on the speedbar.
7. Click the elevation point you want to change. This must be a hard point.
8. Type in the new elevation.
9. Click Auto Slope.
10. Click OK.
