Working with Standard Power BI Reports

Standard Power BI Reports are preconfigured reports that provide visualizations and insights into your ERP (Spectrum and Vista), and Accubid Anywhere data.

From each Standard Power BI report, you can filter the data to see relevant details, modify how the data is displayed, and export the data as either an .xlsx or .csv file.

Available Standard Power BI Reports

Trimble Construction One Analytics currently includes the following Standard Power BI Reports:
  • Commitments provides summary and detailed information about committed costs for your projects organized by parameters such as company, job, phase, and cost type. For details, see Commitments Overview.
  • Contract Status provides summary and detailed information about contract status. For details, see Contract Status Overview.
  • Job Cost Detail provides both summary and detailed Job Cost information for your projects, including cost, hours, and quantity information for both estimates and projections. For details, see Job Cost Detail Overview.
  • Accubid Anywhere Bid Pipeline provides bid data for your projects, including estimate details, final pricing, and labor costs. For details, see Accubid Anywhere Bid Pipeline.
  • Financial Summary - Vista provides a high-level overview of your Vista financials, ideal for executive teams or analysts who need a high-level view of the data. For details, see Financial Summary - Vista.
  • Human Resources Summary - Vista provides a high-level overview, and interactive summary of your Vista Human Resources data. For details, see Human Resources Summary - Vista.
  • Equipment Summary provides summary and detailed information about cost and revenue generated by equipment. For details, see Equipment Summary - Spectrum.
    Note: This report is currently available for Spectrum only.
  • Service Summary - Spectrum provides a detailed financial summary for all work orders by customer and salesperson. For details, see Service Summary - Spectrum.
Note: At this time, Standard Power BI Reports have preconfigured parameters. You can filter the Standard Power BI Reports, and drill down into the details, but cannot change the basic parameters for each report.

Requirements

If you don't see Dashboards listed under Analytics Features on the User Management page in the Admin Center, you can request this feature for your enterprise by logging in to the Viewpoint Customer Portal and contacting Support.

Note the following requirements:
  • You can take advantage of Standard Power BI Reports if your company's subscription for Trimble Viewpoint is part of our Trimble Construction One contract, and you have a Trimble Construction One Analytics license. For information on managing licenses, see About Managing Analytics Licenses
  • Users must first be using single sign-on (SSO) in your ERP (Vista or Spectrum) in order to access Standard Power BI Reports.

    • Spectrum: For details on enabling SSO for Spectrum users, see Single Sign-On in the Spectrum Help.
