What's New in Advanced Image Manager v4.2

These release notes describe the features and enhancements that are new in version 4.2 of Advanced Image Manager dated August 2025.

New Features and Changes

The following improvements have been made.

  • Copy and Paste: We've added a new copy and paste feature. You can now copy a selected area and paste it into a different location on the same page, a different page in the same document, or even into a page in a separate document.

  • Web-Based Help: Our help documentation has been upgraded! We've converted the in-app help to a web-based format, which will now reside on the new Trimble Help portal. This ensures you always have access to the most current and comprehensive support information.

  • Save As: You can now save your documents in multiple formats. A new Save As option allows you to save your work as either a .pdf or .tiff file.

  • For AutoBid Users Only: For our Trimble AutoBid users, we've introduced a direct integration with AutoBid Mechanical and AutoBid Sheet Metal. Now, when you access our app from within AutoBid Takeoff Drawing’s section, you have the option to send pages or sheets directly back to AutoBid, streamlining your project data flow.

Upgrade Procedure

To upgrade to Advanced Image Manager 4.2, please download the new version at https://www.trimbleenterprisecommunity.com/s/downloads and run the installation.
