Export alignments

You can export alignments to various formats, allowing for the transferring of route options to other team members or project participants. You can export either a single alignment or multiple alignments to the export file.

  1. To export alignments, open the Export Alignments window by doing one of the following:
    • Open the Alignment Review window (see Select alignments), select the alignments that you want to export, and click Export.
    • In the Alignment Comparison window, select the alignments you want to export using Ctrl and Shift to select multiple alignments, right-click, and select Export.
    • On the Report tab, select Export.
  2. Export the selected alignments to any of the following formats:

    • XYZ

    • MX Genio

    • 12D Model

    • DXF-XYZ

    • DXF-XY

    • DXF-Z & Land

    • ESRI Shape

    • LandXML v1.0

    • TerraModel PRO

    • Google Earth

    • UCWinroad v 3.4

    If you select LandXML, Terramodel PRO, or Google Earth, the Export Properties dialog appears. The export options will depend on the export format selected.
