You can set the default number of records that a container will dislay per page.

Click Personal Settings in the navigation tree.

Click on User Settings.

Click on Configure next to the CONTAINER_RECORD_LENGTH record.
This will open a new form.

Specify how many records per page you would like your containers to display by default.

Click Finish.
