What's New in App Xchange September 10, 2025

This release includes a new course catalog of App Xchange training content and announces several upcoming features.

New Course Catalog

The App Xchange Course Catalog has been updated with new and improved training materials, including videos specific to the most common flow steps.

Connections Implementation

In an ongoing attempt to update all platform connectors to use structured connections, several connectors have been upgraded to use connections. This confers many user benefits, including support for various types of authentication and an easier configuration process. To switch to a connection, select Upgrade on the Connectors page in an Automation Workspace or the Integration page in a non-Automation workspace.

You will not be required to switch existing integrations to use a connection, but it is highly encouraged. Upgrading will not lose or reset your saved configuration. To check if which connectors support connections, check the App Connectors documentation.

Foundation Connector Expansion

You can now use the Foundation Connector to interact with Equipment Items and Employees.

Coming Soon: Action Processing Improvements

Starting September 24th, several changes will soon be made to how the platform processes connector actions. The following user-facing changes will be made to enhance App Xchange’s performance and stability.
  • Queued actions that have not been processed within 14 days will be automatically terminated. If you wish to reprocess any unprocessed actions that will be terminated on September 24th, you can reprocess them using the Actions Explorer.
  • Detailed input and output JSON payloads for all terminal action instances will be pruned after 90 days (3 months). The action record and its final status will remain visible. Only the detailed data payloads will be deleted.

Coming Soon: Salesforce Connector

A new Salesforce connector is coming soon to App Xchange. It will be able to create, read, update, and delete Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, and Tasks.
