Insert Scale Bar
This function draws scale bars both for horizontal and vertical scales.
A number of options have been added enabling you to control the details for how horizontal and vertical scale is to be drawn.
The dialog box has a graphical area at the top. This graphical area displays what the selected setup for the scale bar looks like.
Run the function from:
- Ribbon: Novapoint and Drawing Layouts and Insert Scale Bar
The dialog box Scale bar Setup, Hor. scale 1:1000 will pop up.
- Hor. scale bar: Sets the horizontal scale bar active for drawing.
- Vert. scale bar: Sets the vertical scale bar active for drawing.
- Scale bar color: This function enables you to define the color of the actual lines and boxes of the scale bar. By clicking on this box, AutoCAD's standard dialog box for color will appear.
- Mid split: If the box in front of the text is filled, the scale bar will be split into two horizontally. If the box is empty, the scale bar is drawn as one box.
- Font: The dialog box Fonts for the selection of another font or font size.
- Layer name: Here it is possible to select layer names for Text and Figures. Type the layer name in the edit box or select an existing one from the list under the button.
- Plot:
- Scale bar length: To set the length of the Scale bar.
- Scale bar height: To set the height of the Scale bar.
- Step length/Divide first step in: To decide how the steps shall look in the Scale bar.
Ok - Draw: If you have selected Ok - Draw, the command prompts for:
- Insert point: <0.00,0.00,0.00> : Specify point.
Here you can also use regular AutoCAD Object Snap functions to pick a point in the drawing.
