Use the World Coordinate System Setup page to align the drawing using Northing and Easting world coordinates.

Field	Description
Translation
Northing	Enter the Northing coordinate of the first point on the drawing.
Easting	Enter the Easting coordinate of the first point on the drawing.
Locate Point	Click Locate Point and digitize the first Northing/Easting world coordinate point.
Reference Points	Click to select the reference point that corresponds the digitized point.
Rotation
Rotation	Select one of the following options for the method to use to align the remaining reference point: Direction - Select this option to use the North direction and digitize a vector to align the drawing. Second Point - Select this option to specify another set of Northing and Easting world coordinates and digitize the point on the drawing.
Direction	If you selected the Direction option button, complete the following steps: Click Digitize Vector. Digitize the South point of the North compass on the drawing, then digitize the North point of the North compass. The direction of North appears in the compass preview.
Second Point	If you selected the Second Point option button, complete the following steps: In the Northing field, enter the Northing coordinate of the second point on the current drawing. In the Easting field, enter the Easting coordinate of the second point. Click Locate Point. Digitize the second Northing/Easting world coordinate point. The direction of North appears in the compass preview.
