Use the takeoff tools to speed up the takeoff process for lines and spot elevations.

1. Optional: Join existing lines or spot elevations on the Join screen.
2. Optional: Join existing lines within a specified distance on the Multiple Join screen.
3. Optional: Create a new a specified distance from an existing line on the Offset Line screen.
4. Optional: Set elevations for multiple lines or elevation points on the drawing on the Set Elevations screen.

After you use the takeoff tools, you may want to Print the Takeoff Tab.
