Use the Estimating Import/Export Tool to export a backup of a particular estimate job or catalog to a Microsoft Access (MDB) file. It can then be imported back into the Estimating module as an Access file. This is useful when you need to move jobs between computers. You can also backup all estimate jobs and catalogs.

You can have any estimate job or catalog open when exporting to backup. You don't have to open the estimate or catalog you want to export.

To open a job in the Manage Estimates screen, click Estimating > Estimating > Manage Estimates in the All Tasks pane. Then select the job you want to open, and click OK.
