Export the NotePad to Excel

  1. Open a job in the Manage Estimates screen.
  2. From the NotePad tab, click Export on the speedbar and select Notepad to Microsoft Excel.
  3. Click Browse.
  4. In the Choose File window, locate the file to export to and click Open.
  5. Select one of the following options to specify how items are updated:
    • Update and add new items – Existing items in the file are updated and new items from NotePad are added to the file.

    • Update existing items only – Existing items in the file are updated.

    • Replace export file – The entire file is replaced. If the file does not exist, it is created.

  6. Select the Consolidate Records checkbox to have like items added together in the export file. If you don't select this checkbox, the Replace export file option is selected and cannot be changed.
  7. In the Sheet Name field, specify the name of the sheet in the Excel file to export to.
  8. Click Export.
  9. Click OK on the information window that summarizes the results.
