Print Forms T5018 Summary Report screen (Canada)

Use the Print Forms T5018 Summary Report screen to generate a summary report of T5018 slips created for vendors.

Businesses in Canada are required by law to report payment to construction subcontractors to the CRA for either the calendar year or fiscal year. You are required to submit a T5018 Summary and the related T5018 slips.

You can print or save this summary report; it serves two purposes:
  • To determine the number of T5018 slips created and the total of payments made.
  • To provide the information to complete the T5018 Summary of Contract Payments for reporting construction subcontractor payments to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
Note: ProContractor does not support electronic filing of T5018 Summary.

If you are required to file a T5018 slip for a vendor, you must submit a T5018 Summary and the related T5018 slips to the CRA within six months of the end of the reporting period.

Note: To open the Print Forms T5018 Summary Report screen, go to Vendors > Year End > Print Forms T5018 Summary Report.

Options tab

You can control the output of the Print Forms T5018 Summary Report by entering details in one or more of the following fields on the Options tab:

Company Select one or more companies for the report.
Tax YearSelect the tax year for the report.
The Print Forms T5018 Summary Report screen is a step in the end-of-year vendor process. The next step can vary:
  • If you used this screen to determine the number of T5018 slips that you will need, contacting the CRA to order your T5018 slips is the next step.
  • If you used this screen to gather the information you need to manually complete your T5018 Summary, manually completing your T5018 Summary is the next step.
