Manage Files in ProContractor Cloud
A critical part of your ProContractor cloud environment is a cloud-based drive that you should use any time you copy or transfer files to or from cloud-based ProContractor. This file storage location is provided to your organization as part of your cloud environment.
When you copy or transfer files to or from any drive or application in the cloud to any drive or application that is installed locally (on your workstation, that is, not in the cloud environment), you must use the H:\ drive. The H:\ drive is the only file storage location that is mapped from each local workstation to your Virtual Desktop Service cloud environment.
This matters because if you attempt to move a file from a drive or application on your local workstation to the ProContractor app (or any other app or drive) which is hosted in the cloud, the result is delays and/or failures.
Your ProContractor application is running on a hosted server and not your workstation, so you need to use the H:\ drive located in the Files folder. The Files folder provides a link between the H:\ drive in the cloud to your local workstation drives.
For more information about accessing files in the H:\ drive, see Copy or Transfer Files in ProContractor Cloud.
