Add New Paper Plan Using Northing/Easting Screen
Use the Add New Paper Plan Using Northing/Easting screen to add paper plans to a job and align them using Northing/Easting world coordinates. Northing/Easting world coordinates also allow you to create jobs that are spread across multiple drawings. Drawings that incorporate Northing/Easting world coordinates, however, don't need to overlap like matchline drawings.
Drawings that use Northing/Easting world coordinates use a relative grid that organizes all the drawings in space into one large drawing. To use Northing/Easting world coordinates, each drawing must include either:
Relative Northing/Easting coordinates of two points
Relative Northing/Easting coordinate of one point and the direction of North
If each drawing does not include one of these, you cannot use Northing/Easting world coordinates to work with multiple drawings. Each Northing/Easting world coordinate is made up of two numbers. The first number is the North coordinate, which can be thought of as the y-axis value. The second number is the East coordinate, which can be thought of as the x-axis value.
