Upgrade your legacy Spectrum login to Trimble ID

Instructions for setting up a Trimble ID so you can continue logging in to Spectrum.

  • Clear your browser cache, including any Spectrum usernames and passwords saved in your browser.
  • You must have access to your email to complete the upgrade because the upgrade process sends an email with a validation code which you must retrieve and use.
The upgrade process starts automatically when you attempt to log in as you normally do.
Note: Each person needs to take the steps to upgrade, but only once.
When you attempt to sign in using your legacy username and password, the Trimble Sign In page opens:

  1. Select Create a Trimble ID.
    A Trimble account creation page appears.
  2. Select the region where you want your sign-in and profile data to be stored.
  3. Follow the prompts to set up your Trimble ID, including MFA options. If needed, see Create a Trimble ID.
    Note: If your organization requires multifactor authentication (MFA) when signing in with your Trimble ID, do not use any of the Google, Apple ID, or Microsoft sign-in options.
Once your Trimble ID is created, use it (that is, the same email address and password combination) when logging in to all other Trimble products you have licenses for.
