What's New in Vista 2024 R1

The Vista 2024 R1 release includes several enhancements and new features, as well as defect fixes that apply to all geographies.

Important: Vista 2024 R1 is the only major release for 2024; however, due to the extensive nature of the improvements and feature work being provided, it was necessary to combine the Vista 2024 R1 and Vista 2024 R2 releases to ensure a more holistic and robust solution.

Some of the new features in this release include improved SM tax handling, updates to electronic OSHA 300/300A/301 reporting, an improved PO/SL review/approval workflow, new MFA configuration capabilities, and an introduction of the ProjectSight integration with Vista, as well as several other features to help improve your workflow.

Another important enhancement brings significant improvements to sign-on methods for Trimble Construction One cloud-hosted Vista customers. These login changes will provide customers the ability to migrate their own login credentials to Trimble ID. Changes will take place after the 2024 R1 release.

Check Issue Status

To see a list of defects fixed in this version, go to the Track Cases/Issues page of the Viewpoint Customer Portal. Use the filter options to select your product and module. In the Fixed in Version field, select this version, then select Apply Filters.

Field	Description
Job	The selected job code will default in this field.
Tracking Item	Enter a job tracking item to add to the selected job.
Trigger basis	The trigger basis for the selected tracking item will display in this field. No entry is allowed. If 'Recurring' was selected, specify a start and end date for this trigger.
