Job-to-date rate per hour is calculated as the quotient of the second and fifth columns; that is, the actual labor cost divided by the actual hours. |

Dollars per hour variance is calculated as the difference of the two preceding columns; that is, the job-to-date cost per hour less the estimated cost per hour. |
