Report Calculations – JTD Labor Analysis Report (Projected Cost)

This report prints the projected hours. If no projected hours are entered, then the report will calculate the hours as it normally does. The Projected report also provides percent complete for labor hours and dollars.

Field

Description

Hours Estimated

The current estimated hours display from Job Phases.

Hours JTD

The actual job-to-date labor hours through the year and period display.

% Complete

There are two % Complete fields. In the first field, the percent complete is calculated as the actual hours divided by the projected hours, multiplied by 100.

The second field is based on actual JTD labor costs divided by estimated labor costs. (Labor Job-to-Date / Labor Estimate).

Hours Projected

The total hours projected at completion figure is calculated as the quotient of Hours JTD to % Complete, where % Complete is expressed as a decimal. (Hours JTD / % Complete)

Hours Variance

The hours variance is calculated as the difference between projected and estimated hours.

Labor Estimate

The current estimate labor costs display from Job Phases.

Labor Job-to-Date

The actual job-to-date labor costs through the year and period display.

Projected Cost

The total labor Projected cost at completion displays from Job Phases.

Cost Variance

Cost variance of labor is calculated as the difference between the projected and estimated cost.
