Licensed Users

The internal users page is where you will find all the list of users who have licenses assigned to them from your account that have signed in to Trimble Connect.

Important:
  • The users listed in the Trimble Connect Admin Dashboard are those currently signed in to the Trimble Connect application. This list does not come directly from the licensing system from which your account originates and therefore may not always reflect the most up-to-date information.
  • If you have revoked a license from a user or removed a user from your account in your license management portal, the next time users signs in, they will not be be licensed under your account and the Trimble Connect Admin Dashboard Internal Users list will get updated with the latest information.
  • To see the most up to date information on your licensed users, please visit the applicable license management system as described in Managing Roles or Licenses.

Overview

The Trimble Connect system becomes aware of a user and their relationship to your account only when they sign in. This means that if a user has a license from your account but that user is not displayed in the Trimble Connect Admin Dashboard Internal Users list, it is because they have not yet signed in to or accessed the Trimble Connect applications.

Each user record includes this information:
  • Name: The name coming from the user's Trimble Account
  • Email address: The email address coming from the user's Trimble Account
  • Employer: The user's entry in their Connect Profile (and cannot be changed by anyone other than the user).
  • License: All the licenses assigned to the user from your account.
  • Role: Indicates what role the user has inside the account. See Account User Roles for details.
  • Status: Indicates whether the user is actively occupying a license from your account or if the license has been removed/revoked from them.

Removed Users

A user becomes listed as Removed when you have revoked all assigned licenses assigned to them.
Note: Removing or revoking a license from a user does not remove them your account's projects. It only stops them from being able to create new projects with your account's license.

Sorting the Listing

You can sort the data in ascending or descending order by name, email, role, and status.

Refreshing the Data

To refresh the data, select Overflow Menu > Refresh.
Note: The users listed in the Internal Users page is populated when a user signs into the Trimble Connect application and does not come directly from the licensing system from which your account originates. Therefore this may not always reflect the most up to date information.

There may be times when a removed user is still being listed as active in Trimble Connect's Admin Dashboard. This is due to data being cached in the Connect system. When a user signs in to Trimble Connect, their licenses and status in your account will be updated. Please visit Trimble Account Management Portal or Tekla Online Admin Tool, or Trimble Civil Product Services (TCPS) to see the most up to date information on your licensed users.

Export to Excel

To export the list of users, select Overflow Menu > Export to Excel. You will see a message in the lower left corner of the screen after the export is complete. The exported file will be in .XLS format.
