Markup Tools
Trimble Connect for Windows' markup tools allow users to highlight, draw, and add text annotations to a 3D model for commenting and emphasizing specific elements.
Use markups to highlight objects and parts in the 3D View. You can also add text to comment on the model. Markups will be saved locally.
There are five types of markup available:
- Freehand Markups are markups that you can draw by hand.
- Line Markups draw a line between two points that you pick.
- Arrow Markups draw an arrow between two points that you pick.
- Text Markups allow you to type text in the model.
- Cloud Markups draw a cloud in the model
To switch between markups, select the dropdown arrow next to the Freehand markup.
Exiting the Markup Mode
Markup mode is continuous, and will stay active even after a markup has been placed. As long as the tool is active, the measurement button is highlighted in blue.
Options for exiting the measurement mode:
- Press the Esc key.
- Select the Markup button in the toolbar again to deactivate the tool.
