Keyboard Navigation
Reference these keyboard shortcuts for navigating 2D and 3D models in Trimble Connect Object Manager.
| Function | 2D or 3D | Description |
|---|---|---|
| U | 3D | Make a U-turn and turn direction angle 180 degrees. |
| G | 2D/3D | Goes to a highlighted object, or to a position defined by the crosshairs if highlighting is not enabled, for example in pan mode. |
| W | 2D/3D | Moves forward or zooms in. |
| S | 2D/3D | Moves backward or zooms out. |
| A | 2D/3D | Moves to the left. |
| D | 2D/3D | Moves to the right. |
| Q | 2D/3D | Moves the viewpoint down. |
| E | 2D/3D | Moves the viewpoint up. |
| Caps Lock | 3D | When Caps Lock is turned off the navigation speed is constant (recommended). When Caps Lock is on, the navigation speed is dynamic and is based on the distance from the view point position to the model. |
| Shift | 2D/3D | Hold down Shift to reduce the navigation speed. This must be combined with one of the direction keys, for example, W. When Shift is released, the navigation speed returns to normal. |
| Ctrl | 2D/3D | Hold down Ctrl to increase navigation speed. This must be combined with one of the direction keys, for example, W. When Ctrl is released, the navigation speed returns to normal. |
| Esc | 3D | Ends keyboard navigation. |
| Home | 2D/3D | Zooms to extent. |
