Edit a Permission Group

Analytics Admins can make edits to a permission group, including which users are added, what tags can be accessed by the group, and what permissions the group has for tags and reports.

  1. From the Dashboards page, select the settings icon in the upper right-hand corner.
Note: If you do not see the settings icon, you have not been set up as an Analytics Admin. Contact your Enterprise Administrator for assistance.
  2. With the Permission Groups tab selected, select the edit icon for the group you want to edit.
  3. You can modify the following options:
    • Under Group Name, you can change the name for the Permission Group.
    • Under Who, add a user to the group by selecting the user from the list, or remove a user by clearing the check box for that user.
    • Under Tags, review the tag(s) that this Permission Group can access, and modify as needed. If necessary, you can add a new tag with the Add New Tag option.
    • Under Actions, review the permissions that apply to this group, and modify as needed. For a description of the possible access levels, see Access Levels for Permission Groups.
    • Under Dataset Access, review the datasets that this group can access when creating a report and modify as needed.
  4. When you're finished modifying the group, select Save Group.
