Working with Paginated Reports
Use Paginated Reports in Trimble Construction One Analytics to view and share reports for data in Vista and Vista Web without accessing those application directly.
By using single sign-on Paginated Reports retains the data security set up in your Vista enterprise.
About Data Security and Data Refresh
By using single sign-on, the data displayed in a Paginated Report is controlled by the access level, configured in Vista, for the user who is accessing the report.
Information in Paginated Reports is automatically imported from Vista and updated in real-time.
Requirements
If you don't see Paginated Reports listed under Analytics Features on the User Management page in the Admin Center, you can request Paginated Reports for your enterprise by logging in to the Viewpoint Customer Portal and contacting Support.
- You can take advantage of Paginated Reports if your company's subscription for Trimble Viewpoint is part of our Trimble Construction One contract, and you have a Trimble Construction One Analytics license. For information on managing licenses, see About Managing Analytics Licenses
- Users must first be using single sign-on (SSO) in your ERP (Vista) in order to access Paginated Reports. For details on enabling SSO for Vista users, see Enable Single Sign-on in the Vista Help.
Setup
Once Trimble Viewpoint has enabled Paginated Reports for your enterprise, the Enterprise Admin can edit the users in your enterprise to provide access to the Paginated Reports feature. For details editing user settings, see Edit a User.
Permission Groups and Tags
Permission groups and tags are used in conjunction to organize and control access to reports.
Once an Analytics Admin role has been assigned, that person can create permission groups which define a group of users, and define the access level those users have for a set of selected tags. By default, a permission group has view-only access to the tags defined in the group but the Admin can configure additional permissions. For details, see Manage Permission Groups.
Tags are associated with permission groups, and can be applied to reports. When a tag is applied to a report, the permission groups associated with that tag can then access the report. For details, see Manage Tags.
Starter Reports
You can use preconfigured Starter Reports to get started with Paginated Reports. These reports include information such as billing details, weekly cash flow, or work in progress. You can either use the reports as is or customize them as needed. For more details and descriptions of the reports, see Using Starter Reports.
