Schedule of Values

The general contractor can set up the schedule of values (SOV) on behalf of the Subcontractor for a given contract or make adjustments to what the contractor has set up as long as the subcontractor hasn't yet submitted an Application for Payment.

What the General Contractor (GC) can and cannot do

On behalf of the Subcontractor for a given contract, the GC can set up the SOV or make adjustments to what the subcontractor has set up as long as the subcontractor hasn't yet submitted an Application for Payment.

Once an Application for Payment has been submitted, the GC cannot add new line items or adjust the SOV amount for a particular line, but they can modify the description or item number at any time.

  • Using a Template - if you have more lines than you want to enter manually, use this bulk import option to populate the SOV details.
