Lower Tier Subcontractors

The general contractors you do business with are responsible for determining if lower tier tracking is enabled for your project.

A lower-tier subcontractor is a third party who you have contracted to do any portion of the contract you have with your general contractor, whether phases of work, supplies, materials, or other.

If the general contractor has enabled lower tier tracking, Trimble Pay will prompt you to provide any and all lower tier information during bill submission.

If you'd like to check prior to bill submission whether the general contractor has enabled lower tier tracking, look in the the menu bar of the Contract Details page. If you can select Lower tiers, lower tier tracking is enabled.
