Add a Form in Field View Mobile

You can add a form to complete a form for a location using plan view if there is a calibrated image for the location. You can also add a form in the location view or the 3D view you uploaded a 360 model.

Forms contain questions to be answered. Because each organization can customize their forms, we can't tell you exactly how to complete a form, other than to answer the questions the form contains.

An answer can be one of variety of types, such as date, time, number, text, dropdown, and signature. You can add comments, attach photos, or assign a task to an answer. Each answer is saved automatically when you complete it.

If you add a form to the 3D view, Field View captures a snapshot of the view and saves it as an attachment.

See what each field means with the field definitions. Your form may not contain all the fields.

  1. Navigate to the location where you want to add the task and tap where you want to add the task: Location View, Plan View, or 3D View.
  2. If you are adding the form to a location with a 360 photo, tap the 360 pin.
    If you don't add the form to the 360 photo, you won't see the form when the 360 photo is opened.
  3. Tap the Add button or the Action Panel.
  4. Tap Form or tap Add New for the form.
  5. Tap the form type for the form you want to add. You may have to tap more than once if there are additional types of forms.
  6. Drag the pin to the desired location.
  7. Tap Create Form.
  8. Enter a title for the form.
  9. (optional) To add additional information to an answer, tap one or more of the following:
    ButtonDescription
    Comments Add comments for the form answer. Tap Done to save the comment.
    Photo Add a new photo or a photo from the gallery on your device.
    Action Add a new task associated with the form answer.
    Access options to Add Additional Answer or Mark As Not Applicable. These options are not available in all instances.
  10. (optional) Tap All Good to complete all questions on the form with "good" answers.
    A questions is only completed with the “good” answer if it doesn’t already contain an answer and if a “good” answer has been defined in the template for the question.
  11. (optional) Tap Distribution to select organizations and people to receive a PDF of the form in an email.
    Note: Forms are emailed when you sync your device.
  12. (optional) Tap Set Status to change the status of the form.
  13. (optional) Tap PDF to create a PDF of the form and open it on your device.
  14. Tap the Back button or the Back arrow on your device to exit the form.
