Field View’s November release continues the process of removing functionality added to the web application from Classic Field View and adds a way to keep users from using a process-only form to raise tasks. We removed the ability to set up business and project processes, and personal details from Classic Field View. These functions are now solely available in the web application.

What's New in Field View 2024 R11

The October release of Field View added the ability to rapidly assign packages of work to third-party organisations, such as subcontractors, from within a single consolidated tool within project setup. You can also now more easily manage your drawings by removing unused and unassigned drawings from the library or deactivating drawings you want to hide directly within field view. We’ve made updates to Android, giving it the same look as the functions in iOS, and we removed the ability to delete the Form Location question from form templates, preventing problems with moving pins and other issues.

In the August release of Field View, we are improving upon packages in the web application, from the interface to exports to managing emails, continuing our efforts to streamline the process of creating a project. In addition, we made Barcodes and QR Code reports available only as PDF files.

Business and project packages transitioned out of Classic Field View in the July release, paving the way for a more streamlined and efficient experience in the web application. You can create an organisation and invite users directly when creating packages. Depending on the role assigned, new users may not have access to the plan view. We also modified the system library in the web application to display organisations currently in use across all your projects, ensuring an environment without unneeded information and with faster data retrieval.

The June release of Field View  contains a significant update for our drawings library with the ability to get 2-D drawings from Trimble Connect and put them in Field View libraries without the need to switch platforms. We also continue our localisation efforts for a better user experience.

May’s release focused on updates for the mobile version of Field View where we’re laying down the framework for future improvements. We’re also continuing to translate sections of the Field View web application and move features from Classic Field View into the web application.

We made a lot of changes in the fourth release of Field View in 2024. We  completed the work to move forms, tasks, processes, and notifications out of Classic Field View. We also updated the code behind our mobile devices for a more secure environment.

The Data Entry menu is used to
      record invoices as they are received. Invoices can be tracked optionally through Unapproved
      Invoice Processing, and routed automatically to reviewers for approval. Options are available
      for correcting invoice entry errors. Typically, invoices are entered and updated, then later
      paid. In addition, credit memos, recurring invoices and subcontract progress billings can be
      created and processed. Payments can be made by issuing regular check or by manual or pre-paid
      checks. Issued checks may be voided.

                however, due to the extensive nature of the improvements and feature work being
                provided, it was necessary to combine the <span class="keyword">Vista</span> 2024 R1 and <span class="keyword">Vista</span> 2024 R2 releases to ensure a more holistic and robust
                solution.</div>
        </div><p class="p">Some of the new features in this release include improved SM tax handling,
            updates to electronic OSHA 300/300A/301 reporting, an improved PO/SL review/approval
            workflow, new MFA configuration capabilities, and an introduction of the <span class="keyword">ProjectSight</span> integration with <span class="keyword">Vista</span>, as well as several other features to help
            improve your workflow.</p><p class="p">Another important enhancement brings significant improvements to sign-on methods for
                <span class="keyword">Trimble Construction
                                          One</span> cloud-hosted <span class="keyword">Vista</span> customers. These login changes will
            provide customers the ability to migrate their own login credentials to <span class="keyword">Trimble ID</span>. Changes will take place <em class="ph i">after</em>
